1. Community Service Applications Team 

1.1. English Conversation Class 

Mission Statement: In line with the requests collected from all academic and administrative staff via a survey conducted by the Dean’s Office, the establishment of English conversation classes for elementary school (beginner–intermediate) and middle school (beginner–intermediate) students as well as adults (Beginner).

1.2. Chess Class 

Job Description: Based on requests collected from all academic and administrative staff through a survey conducted by the Dean’s Office, Establishing chess classes for elementary and middle school (beginner to intermediate) students; preparing lesson content and lesson plans to enable participants to practice chess; and conducting the classes.

1.3. Basic Sciences Application Class 

Task Description: In accordance with the requests collected from all academic and administrative staff through a survey conducted by the Dean’s Office, Establishing Basic Sciences Lab Classes for elementary and middle school students; preparing course content and lesson plans to enable participants to conduct laboratory experiments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; and conducting the classes.

1.4. Academic Counseling (Mentoring) 

Job Description: Based on requests collected from all academic and administrative staff through a survey conducted by the Dean’s Office, preparing course content and lesson plans, and conducting classes to enable students preparing for the LGS and YKS exams to benefit from the experiences of university students who have recently successfully completed these exams, and to provide guidance to students preparing for these exams.

1.5. Volunteer Teaching Project 

Providing support, as needed, to weekend preparatory classes for the LGS and YKS exams, organized as part of the “Social Responsibility and Justice” course—which is offered as a “Required Course” within our faculty.

2. FEF Science Journal Team

Job Description: To evaluate and promote the educational, teaching, and scientific research activities carried out within the framework of the “YTÜ FEF Basic Sciences Education Model” implemented at our faculty from a “student’s perspective,” and within the scope of basic science fields, writing and publishing scientific articles on popular scientific topics, conducting and publishing interviews with faculty members and students at our Faculty on prominent scientific topics, promoting the scientific and academic achievements of our faculty members and students, Creating written and visual content for the FEF Science Journal established within our Faculty and carrying out related design work in collaboration with the “Social Media and Promotion Team” and the “Photography Team,” and publishing these on our Faculty’s website.

3. Software Development Team

Job Description: To create or develop web-based software focused on process improvement in order to facilitate educational, instructional, and administrative processes for students enrolled in our faculty.

4th International Curriculum Research Team

Job Description: To provide additional data for the “Excellence in Education and Teaching” initiatives carried out within our faculty, as well as for the Bologna and FEDEK update efforts, to conduct and report status analyses by comparing the curriculum plans of relevant departments ranked in the top five in the QS and THE rankings with those of our Faculty’s departments.

5. Translation Team

Task Description: As part of the “Internationalization” initiatives carried out within our Faculty, translating relevant content from our Faculty’s website and the websites of our departments into English and conducting a quality assessment of the translations.

6. Dean’s Office

Job Description: To coordinate the Dean’s Office team for the FEF İŞKUR Youth Program Project and ensure coordination among the sub-teams involved in the project as well as internal and external stakeholders.

7. Social Media and Promotion Team 

Job Description: To elevate our Faculty’s departments from the 20,000–50,000 range in YKS rankings to higher levels, within the framework of the “YTÜ FEF Basic Sciences Education Model” to elevate our faculty’s departments to higher levels in the YKS rankings than the 20,000–50,000 range.

8. Event Organization and Support Team 

8.1. Organization Team

Job Description: To organize and support academic, scientific, social, and cultural events held within our faculty (conferences, workshops, symposia, Wednesday seminars, thesis poster presentations, courses and activities conducted under the İŞKUR Youth Program, etc.) organized within our faculty.

8.2. Music Team

Job Description: Academic, scientific, social, and cultural events held within our faculty (conferences, workshops, symposia, Wednesday seminars, thesis poster presentations, courses and activities conducted as part of the İŞKUR Youth Program, etc.) and delivering musical performances at venues specified by the Dean’s Office.

8.3. Photography Team

Job Description: Photographing academic, scientific, social, and cultural events held within our faculty (conferences, workshops, symposia, Wednesday seminars, thesis poster presentations, courses and activities conducted as part of the İŞKUR Youth Program, etc.) and preparing the related visuals.

It is mandatory to submit weekly reports on all activities carried out within the scope of the job descriptions, as well as the end-of-term project results report, to the Dean’s Office.
