Based on the slogan “Faculties of Science and Letters do more than just train teachers,” this workshop provided visiting students with the opportunity to participate in classes and labs in the departments of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Molecular Biology and Genetics, and Turkish Language and Literature, and to experience a day “as a university student” by exploring our unique green campus. In addition, prospective students were introduced to the courses they would take in each department if admitted, as well as our certificate programs—which enable specialization in key topics in the basic sciences and emerging technologies—and faculty-required courses such as “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence," "Introduction to Basic Computer Technologies," "Social Responsibility and Justice," and "Career Planning"—which aim to develop students’ knowledge, skills, and social values—were introduced to prospective students.
