RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Ensure that a risk assessment is conducted for the faculty,
2) To ensure that emergency plans are prepared and implemented as necessary,
3) Ensure that records of workplace accidents and occupational diseases are maintained, that reports are filed, and that these records are reviewed and evaluated (according to the law, workplace accidents must be reported to the Social Security Institution within three business days of the accident; occupational diseases must be reported within 10 business days of an official diagnosis),
4) To assess occupational health and safety hazards and preventive measures within the faculty and determine appropriate precautions,
5) To ensure that deficiencies and shortcomings reported by the occupational safety specialist are addressed,
6) To inform our Faculty’s students and staff through announcements about the health and safety risks they may face, raise awareness, and encourage them to comply with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations,
7) To ensure that employees receive training on both workplace health and safety and professional matters, to plan such training, and to ensure that training is repeated as necessary,
8) To convene extraordinary meetings and make decisions when necessary (such as in cases of exercising the right to refuse work, work-related accidents, occupational diseases, or equipment shortages/malfunctions),
9) To ensure the development of instructions and procedures in the relevant work areas,
10) Prepare an annual report on completed and ongoing OSH activities,
11) To plan and monitor the necessary safety measures for maintenance and repair work to be carried out within and around the faculty,

5) To evaluate requests for graduation events,
6) To monitor the activities of student clubs run by our faculty’s students,
7) To perform other duties assigned by the Dean.
